To report new cases of orbital inflammatory syndrome (OIS) post group A streptococcal (GAS) infection and review the literature.
A retrospective case series of patients with OIS post GAS infection seen in our clinic (from January 2015 to December 2016) and review of additional patients from the literature.
A total of nine patients with OIS post GAS infection were included in the study (four patients seen in our clinic and five from previous literature); seven females and two males, three children (under the age of 16), and six adults. Eight patients (89%) presented with a single rectus muscle (5 medial, 3 lateral) myositis, and one (11%) presented with posterior scleritis and diffuse OIS.
Although there are very few reports on OIS post GAS infection, it may be more common than previously thought and should be considered in the differential diagnosis of patients with orbital inflammation.

共纳入 9 例 GAS 感染后 OIS 患者（4 例为我科就诊患者，5 例来自文献），其中 7 例为女性，2 例为男性，3 例为儿童（<16 岁），6 例为成年人。8 例（89%）患者表现为单一直肌（5 例内侧，3 例外侧）肌炎，1 例（11%）患者表现为后部巩膜炎和弥漫性 OIS。
尽管 GAS 感染后 OIS 的报道很少，但它可能比以前认为的更为常见，在诊断眼眶炎症患者时应考虑到这一疾病。
