Abstract

The anxiolytic effect of seduxen was revealed in rats in experimentally modelled anxiety states formed by aversive actions of various biological importance. Phenibut and baclofen were found to display no anxiolytic properties on the anxiety model during a conflict situation. The revealed differences of the anxiolytic effect of derivatives of benzodiazepine and GABA indicate diverse spectra of their psychotropic activity.
