Abstract
Two South African patients with frequent drug-resistant complex partial seizures arising from the left temporal lobe were referred to the UK for anterior temporal lobectomy. Both patients are now seizure-free, the first 3 1/2 years and the second 2 1/2 years after operation. Clinical details are presented.

两名来自南非的患者因左颞叶频繁出现耐药性复杂部分性癫痫发作，被转诊至英国接受前颞叶切除术。两名患者目前均无癫痫发作，第一名患者术后无发作3年半，第二名患者术后无发作2年半。本文介绍了临床详细情况。
