Abstract

A 48-year-old man with necrotizing fasciitis in the right middle third face is presented. The patient had uncontrolled diabetes mellitus and liver cirrhosis. The condition was controlled by early diagnosis, prompt surgical management and adjunctive broad spectrum antibiotic cover after entering hospital, the curettage of the necrotizing tissue of the right cheek was especially effective.
