CASE
Stress fractures of the first rib rarely have been reported in association with sports activities. We report a case of a cerebellar infarction that possibly was associated with arterial thoracic outlet syndrome (aTOS) that developed as a result of extensive callus formation in a young baseball player with a stress fracture of the first rib.
CONCLUSION
According to the literature, almost all cases of stress fracture in the first rib have a relatively good prognosis, and there are only a few reports of TOS occurring as a rare late complication. To our knowledge, there have been no prior reports of cerebellar infarction associated with aTOS following a stress fracture of the first rib.

第一肋骨应力性骨折与体育活动相关的情况鲜有报道。我们报告一例小脑梗死病例，该病例可能与一名年轻棒球运动员第一肋骨应力性骨折后大量骨痂形成导致的胸廓出口综合征（aTOS）有关。
结论
根据文献，几乎所有第一肋骨应力性骨折病例预后相对良好，仅有少数关于TOS作为罕见晚期并发症发生的报道。据我们所知，此前尚无第一肋骨应力性骨折后发生与aTOS相关的小脑梗死的报道。
