Abstract
Digital arthrodesis is a common surgical procedure but requires selection of the proper procedure and fixation device to achieve the desired result. This article presents the various methods which have been found effective in achieving an arthrodesis of the hallux and/or lesser toes. The various procedures and fixation devices are described in detail along with their advantages and disadvantages.
