It was demonstrated with the use of the immunological tests that in acute posthemorrhagic anemias, the blood chalone content was low whereas in anemias of the leukemic origin it was elevated. In secondary erythrocytis, the chalone titre rose to a greater degree than in polycythemia vera. The testing of chalone blood factors may play a role in differential diagnosis of some types of erythropoiesis abnormalities.
免疫试验表明，在急性失血性贫血中，血液抑素含量较低，而在白血病源性贫血中则升高。在继发性红细胞增多症中，抑素滴度升高的程度比真性红细胞增多症更大。对血液抑素因子的检测可能在某些类型的红细胞生成异常的鉴别诊断中发挥作用。
