Atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) is a newly discovered hormone released from cardiac atrial myocytes into the circulation. Secretion of the hormone is triggered by atrial distension and volume overload. ANP consist of 28 aminoacids. The hormone induces natriuresis, diuresis and increases glomerular filtration rate. Moreover, it dilates vascular smooth muscle and opposes the effects of several vasoactive hormones. Thus ANP plays an important role in the regulation of body fluids and electrolyte homeostasis.
心房利钠肽(ANP)是一种新发现的激素,由心脏心房肌细胞释放进入循环系统。该激素的分泌由心房扩张和容量超负荷触发。心房利钠肽由28个氨基酸组成。这种激素可诱导利钠、利尿并增加肾小球滤过率。此外,它还能舒张血管平滑肌并对抗几种血管活性激素的作用。因此,心房利钠肽在体液和电解质稳态的调节中发挥着重要作用。
