A new species of Jeannel, , is described from northern Taitung, Taiwan, representing the first record of the genus in China. The species is distinctive, and may be readily separated from its congeners by the unique structures of male tergite 1(IV), and the aedeagus.
一种新的珍妮步甲属物种在台湾台东北部被描述,这是该属在中国的首次记录。该物种具有独特性,可通过雄性第1腹节背板(第4腹节)和阳茎的独特结构轻易地与同属其他物种区分开来。
