Abstract

The relationship of angle SNA and SNB to angle SN-FH was determined by evaluating 106 teleradiographs. The correlation of the small SN-FH angle with the large SNA/SNB angle was statistically significant and vice versa. The normal range for SNA/SNB was determined by classifying SN-FH values. The use of these relations for the preoperative planning of orthognathic surgery was demonstrated in two clinical cases.
