Abstract

Three new compounds, ascotrichols A-B () and ascotrichrone A (), along with two known isocoumarin derivatives (), were isolated from the solid culture of a sea mud-derived fungus, sp. ZJ-M-5 on rice media. The structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analyses, including 1D and 2D NMR data, and the absolute configurations were determined by electronic circular dichroism and biogenetic correlation.
