Abstract

Excretion of Tamm-Horsfall protein and of certain electrolytes was measured in subjects living in an area of endemic nephropathy, in subjects living in a control area, and in patients with other types of chronic renal disease. A significantly higher excretion of Tamm-Horsfall protein and of sodium chloride was observed in the diseased, suspect and subjects "at risk", as compared to the control subjects and patients suffering from other types of chronic renal disease. A positive linear correlation between urinary excretion of Tamm-Horsfall protein and of sodium chloride was found in all the study groups of subjects from the endemic and control areas as well as in patients with other renal diseases.

对生活在地方性肾病流行地区的人群、生活在对照地区的人群以及患有其他类型慢性肾病的患者，测定了Tamm-Horsfall蛋白和某些电解质的排泄情况。与对照人群和患有其他类型慢性肾病的患者相比，在患病、疑似患病及“有风险”的人群中，观察到Tamm-Horsfall蛋白和氯化钠的排泄量显著更高。在来自流行地区和对照地区的所有研究人群组以及患有其他肾病的患者中，均发现Tamm-Horsfall蛋白的尿排泄量与氯化钠之间呈正线性相关。
