Abstract
CASE
We report a case of a chronic, irreducible carpometacarpal (CMC) dislocation of the thumb, which was managed with a trapeziometacarpal arthrodesis.
CONCLUSION
This case demonstrates that arthrodesis is a suitable salvage procedure for chronic, irreducible CMC dislocations of the thumb.
