Extensive scalp defects caused by various etiologies often require free-tissue transfer. We aimed to review our experience in the reconstruction of extensive scalp defects with free anterolateral flaps.
A retrospective analysis was performed on all patients with extensive scalp defects that were reconstructed with free anterolateral thigh flaps from November 2007 to April 2015. Eleven patients with a mean age of 44 years were included in this study.
Eleven free-tissue transfers were used to reconstruct the extensive scalp defects. The flaps were 7-14 cm in width and 10-34 cm in length.
Microvascular free-tissue transfer is the mainstay for the treatment of extensive scalp defects. We recommend anterolateral thigh free flap use for challenging and complex cases, given the method's numerous advantages, including reliability and safety.
由各种病因引起的大面积头皮缺损通常需要进行游离组织移植。我们旨在回顾我们使用游离股前外侧皮瓣修复大面积头皮缺损的经验。
对2007年11月至2015年4月期间所有使用游离股前外侧皮瓣修复大面积头皮缺损的患者进行回顾性分析。本研究纳入了11例平均年龄为44岁的患者。
使用11次游离组织移植修复大面积头皮缺损。皮瓣宽度为7 - 14厘米,长度为10 - 34厘米。
微血管游离组织移植是治疗大面积头皮缺损的主要方法。鉴于该方法具有诸多优点,包括可靠性和安全性,我们建议在具有挑战性和复杂性的病例中使用股前外侧游离皮瓣。
