A new species, (Primulaceae), from central Sichuan, China, is described and illustrated. It is assigned to sect. subsect. , and is most similar to , but can be easily distinguished from that species by its much larger flower and elliptic or ovate-elliptic leaves.
描述并图示了中国四川中部报春花科的一个新物种。它被归入报春花属、穗花报春组、指叶报春亚组，与指叶报春最为相似，但因其花大得多且叶为椭圆形或椭圆状卵形，可轻易与该物种区分开来。
