Ir cocatalyst-loaded SrTiO:Ir has arisen as a promising photocatalyst for H evolution with a response to the whole range of visible light up to 800 nm. The key factor for the high activity lies in H-reduction after loading of an Ir cocatalyst to obtain metallic and adhesive Ir-cocatalysts.
