This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the "Create Sensitivity" caring model on blood glucose/ glycosylated hemoglobin and quality of life in patients with type 2 Diabetes.
This study enrolled 70 patients from an educational hospital in Kurdistan, Iran. The model was implemented among the test group over a period of 3 months. Blood glucose/ glycosylated hemoglobin and patients' quality of life were measured before and after intervention. Data were analyzed using version 21 of the statistical software SPSS.
After the intervention, significant differences existed between the test and control groups both in blood glucose levels (means, 146.4 ± 51.3 mg/dl and 175.6 ± 59.8 mg/dl, respectively; =0.032) and in glycosylated hemoglobin (means, 67.89 ± 13.34 mmol/mol and 80.03 ± 17.234 mmol/mol, respectively; = 0.002). Additionally, there was also a significant difference between the quality of life of the patients in test group (mean, 58.25 ± 5.3) and that in the control group (mean, 47.02 ± 4.5) (= 0.0001).
Use of this model was associated with reducing fasting blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin and increasing the total mean of quality of life in the patients in the test group. So, the application of this model is recommended.
本研究旨在确定“创造敏感性”关怀模式对2型糖尿病患者血糖/糖化血红蛋白及生活质量的有效性。
本研究纳入了伊朗库尔德斯坦一家教学医院的70名患者。该模式在试验组中实施了3个月。在干预前后测量血糖/糖化血红蛋白及患者的生活质量。使用统计软件SPSS 21版对数据进行分析。
干预后，试验组和对照组在血糖水平（均值分别为146.4±51.3mg/dl和175.6±59.8mg/dl；P = 0.032）和糖化血红蛋白（均值分别为67.89±13.34mmol/mol和80.03±17.234mmol/mol；P = 0.002）方面均存在显著差异。此外，试验组患者的生活质量（均值为58.25±5.3）与对照组（均值为47.02±4.5）之间也存在显著差异（P = 0.0001）。
使用该模式与降低试验组患者的空腹血糖和糖化血红蛋白以及提高生活质量总均值相关。因此，推荐应用该模式。
