The nitrite oxidizes reduced azurin and cytochrome c-551 from Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The effects of pH, ionic strength and concentrations of nitrite, EDTA and the protein on the oxidation were investigated. The results obtained indicate that nitrite interacts not only with the terminal electron carrier of the nitrite reducing chain (nitrite reductase, cytochrome cd1) but also with the intermediate electron carrier components of the chain (azurin and cytochrome c-551).
亚硝酸盐可氧化铜绿假单胞菌的还原型天青蛋白和细胞色素c-551。研究了pH值、离子强度以及亚硝酸盐、EDTA和蛋白质浓度对氧化作用的影响。所得结果表明,亚硝酸盐不仅与亚硝酸盐还原链的末端电子载体(亚硝酸盐还原酶、细胞色素cd1)相互作用,还与该链的中间电子载体成分(天青蛋白和细胞色素c-551)相互作用。
