Transient psychogenic amnesia.

Features of transient psychogenic amnesia (TPA) are described and related states of psychogenic amnesia are outlined and discussed. A few remarks on possible therapeutic interventions are given. It is concluded that despite the existence of common attributes in various transient amnesic forms and in spite of the possibility of mixed symptomatologies, distinctive and characteristic features for most cases of TPA can be listed and relied on.
