Abstract
One-hundred-eighty-six public and voluntary, not-for-profit hospitals were surveyed regarding their strategic planning processes, which were found to be more similar than different. Public hospitals, however, were less flexible, less formal, and more hesitant to adopt the latest strategic planning innovations.

对186家公立、志愿性非营利性医院的战略规划流程进行了调查，结果发现它们之间的相似之处多于不同之处。然而，公立医院的灵活性较低，规范性较差，在采用最新的战略规划创新方面也更为犹豫。
