Carcinosarcoma of the stomach represents a rare variant of gastric malignancies. It is composed of intimately mixed epithelial and mesenchymal elements. Only few cases of gastric carcinosarcoma have been reported in the literature. Surgical treatment is the only curative modality, but the disease progress is usually aggressive and its prognosis remains poor even afer curative treatment. The defnitive diagnosis is usually made by histopathological and immunohistochemical analysis of the resected tumor. This review summarizes the available data concerning epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical characteristics, diagnosis, histopathology, treatment and prognosis of gastric carcinosarcoma.
胃肉瘤样癌是胃恶性肿瘤中一种罕见的类型。它由紧密混合的上皮和间叶成分组成。文献中仅报道了少数胃肉瘤样癌病例。手术治疗是唯一的治愈方式，但该疾病进展通常较为迅速，即使经过根治性治疗，其预后仍然较差。明确诊断通常通过对切除肿瘤进行组织病理学和免疫组织化学分析来确定。本文综述了有关胃肉瘤样癌的流行病学、发病机制、临床特征、诊断、组织病理学、治疗及预后的现有数据。
