Systemic hemodynamic parameters in 5-month-old and 10-month-old normotensive Wistar-Kyoto and spontaneously hypertensive (SHR) conscious rats were studied with microsphere technique. Cardiac index was similar in both strains of rats and was not significantly different between 5 and 10 months. Left ventricle catheter implantation through the right common carotid artery evoked the development of heart failure in 10-month-old SHR (in the first day after operation). This model can be used for screening of new drugs for heart failure treatment.
采用微球技术研究了5月龄和10月龄血压正常的Wistar-Kyoto大鼠及自发性高血压(SHR)清醒大鼠的全身血流动力学参数。两种品系大鼠的心脏指数相似,5个月和10个月时无显著差异。通过右颈总动脉植入左心室导管可诱发10月龄SHR(术后第一天)发生心力衰竭。该模型可用于筛选治疗心力衰竭的新药。
