The cytologic, endoscopic and echographic findings in 28 patients with pancreatic cancer are compared. The echographic findings indicated the presence of pancreatic cancer in 4 patients only, in 9 patients they were considered as suspicious for cancer and in 15 patients they did not discover the tumor. The endoscopic examinations revealed a pancreatic tumor in 8 patients and in 10 patients only indirect data for tumor were found. The cytologic examination of the pancreatic juice sediment found cancer cells in 26 out of the 28 patients studied. In 4 patients the diagnosis was determined by cytologic examination only. The simultaneous application of all three methods led to the correct diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in all 28 patients while they were still alive.
对28例胰腺癌患者的细胞学、内镜检查及超声检查结果进行了比较。超声检查结果显示，仅4例患者存在胰腺癌，9例患者被认为可疑患有癌症，15例患者未发现肿瘤。内镜检查发现8例患者有胰腺肿瘤，10例患者仅发现肿瘤的间接证据。在所研究的28例患者中，26例患者的胰液沉淀物细胞学检查发现了癌细胞。4例患者仅通过细胞学检查确诊。同时应用这三种方法，使所有28例存活患者均得到了胰腺癌的正确诊断。
