The acupuncture and electropuncture are no polychrest method, but integrated into other approved forms of therapy a valuable supplementation of our possibilities of treatment, since expense, utility and risk are well proportionated. The author enters the importance, the hypotheses of action, the possibilities and limits, the contraindications and the insignificant risk of treatment. With the help of own investigations and on the basis of the results of the clinical experimental and basic researches of other authors in indicated diseases a portion of success is discussed which is transgressing a pure suggestive effect.
