[Creating a Cupid's bow in lip deformities].

The deformity of the upper lip of a congenital and acquired character is often accompanied by an alteration of the Cupid arch contours. The author describes the method based upon creation of duplicating of the orbicular muscle of the mouth which allows to make a more raised and protrusive Cupid arch. Good results were obtained in 18 patients, their follow-up observation being 4 years.
