To report a Japanese patient with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) in the lacrimal sac.
This is a case report of a 52-year-old Japanese woman who presented with a 3-month history of epiphora on the right side and a 1-month history of swelling on the right medial canthal area. Lacrimal sac irrigation showed patency of the lacrimal drainage system. Imaging studies revealed a lacrimal sac mass with involvement of the nasolacrimal duct.
Histopathology and immunohistochemistry of the biopsy specimen revealed DLBCL. Systemic workup revealed no other lesion. The patient received 6 cycles of R-CHOP regimen. After completion of the 5th cycle of R-CHOP, all of the symptoms had resolved.
We report a case of DLBCL in the lacrimal sac, which is the most common type of lacrimal sac lymphoma in Japan. Since DLBCL is one of the aggressive types of lymphoma, Japanese patients with lacrimal sac lymphoma tend to have a poor prognosis.
报告一例日本泪囊弥漫性大B细胞淋巴瘤（DLBCL）患者。
这是一例52岁日本女性的病例报告，患者右侧溢泪3个月，右侧内眦区肿胀1个月。泪囊冲洗显示泪道系统通畅。影像学检查发现泪囊肿物累及鼻泪管。
活检标本的组织病理学和免疫组织化学检查显示为DLBCL。全身检查未发现其他病变。患者接受了6个周期的R-CHOP方案治疗。在完成第5个周期的R-CHOP治疗后，所有症状均已缓解。
我们报告了一例泪囊DLBCL病例，这是日本最常见的泪囊淋巴瘤类型。由于DLBCL是侵袭性淋巴瘤类型之一，日本泪囊淋巴瘤患者预后往往较差。
