Abstract

CFN (fluorinated nitrile) gas mixture has been utilized as the gas insulating medium to replace the most greenhouse gas SF (sulphur hexafluoride). Nowadays, there are few reports on the toxicity mechanism of CFN and studies on the application risk of CFN is insufficient. In this paper, we carried out acute toxicity tests for CFN gas systematically. The changes of vital signs of rats after exposure to CFN were analyzed and the influence of CFN on the main organs of rats was revealed for the first time. It was found that rats developed symptoms of respiratory rate decrease, respiratory mucosa damage, movement systems impairment and abnormal blood cell count after exposure to CFN. Pathological section results showed that 1.5% CFN could damage the lung, kidney, intestine and brain tissues of rats to a certain extent, but has little influence to the eye, skin, heart and liver. The LC50 (rat, 4 h) of CFN gas is in the range of 15,000 ppm (1.5%) and 20,000 ppm (2%). Relevant research results not only reveal the acute toxicity mechanism of CFN, but also provide important reference for the safety protection of scientific researcher, equipment production, engineering operation and maintenance personnel.

CFN(氟化腈)气体混合物已被用作气体绝缘介质来替代最具温室效应的 SF(六氟化硫)。目前,关于 CFN 的毒性机制的报道较少,对 CFN 的应用风险研究也不足。本文系统地开展了 CFN 气体的急性毒性试验,分析了大鼠接触 CFN 后生命体征的变化,首次揭示了 CFN 对大鼠主要器官的影响。结果发现,大鼠在接触 CFN 后出现呼吸频率下降、呼吸黏膜损伤、运动系统障碍和血细胞计数异常等症状。病理切片结果表明,1.5%的 CFN 可在一定程度上损伤大鼠的肺、肾、肠和脑组织,但对眼睛、皮肤、心脏和肝脏影响较小。CFN 气体的 LC50(大鼠,4 小时)在 15000 ppm(1.5%)和 20000 ppm(2%)之间。相关研究结果不仅揭示了 CFN 的急性毒性机制,也为科研人员、设备生产、工程操作和维护人员的安全防护提供了重要参考。
