Abstract

Lymphangioma circumscriptum consists of persistent localized or diffuse, grouped, translucent vesicles of the skin. Surgical removal of extensive lymphangioma circumscriptum is frequently unsuccessful and is characterized by rapid regrowth. We describe our results with the use of the carbon dioxide laser in a vaporization mode to successfully ablate superficial cutaneous lesions in seven patients with lymphangioma circumscriptum.
