Abstract

AIM

This work aimed to determine the occurrence of antibiotic and disinfectant resistance genes in isolated from chickens in Egypt.

MATERIALS AND METHODS

Organs (liver, lung, heart, yolk sac, and bone marrow) of 1500 chicken samples were collected from diseased chickens suffered from colibacillosis with PM findings as CRD, diarrhea and omphalitis from different governorates of Egypt as: Giza, EL-Bahira, Fayoum, El-Dakahlia, El-Ismalia, and El-Sharkia during 2015-2016. These samples were labeled and transported immediately on ice to the Reference laboratory for quality control on poultry production (RLQP). The samples were cultured onto MacConkey agar and Eosin Methylene Blue Agar. Isolation and identification of the were performed based on morphology, cultural, staining, and biochemical properties. Antimicrobial resistance test was carried out using disk diffusion method. The PCR employing and were carried out for detection of these genes in isolated .

RESULTS

The prevalence of in chicken was 34%. Predominant serotypes of which serologically identified were O128, O111, O44, O158, and O2. Antibiotic susceptibility test of revealed that 100% of isolates were resistant to ampicillin, erythromycin, and sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim, while 73.53% and 38.23% of them were sensitive for colistin sulfate and levofloxacin, respectively. Antibiotic resistance genes as gene were tested for isolated and detected by incidence rate of 91.18%. resistance genes resembling as and genes were detected in isolated . 70.6% and 14.7%, respectively.

CONCLUSION

. isolated from chickens in Egypt was carried and antibiotic-resistant genes that affect the poultry industry.

目的

本研究旨在确定从埃及鸡群中分离出的大肠杆菌中抗生素和消毒剂抗性基因的存在情况。

材料与方法

2015 - 2016年期间,从埃及不同省份(吉萨、贝希拉、法尤姆、代盖赫利耶、伊斯梅利亚和东部省)患有大肠杆菌病且有慢性呼吸道疾病、腹泻和脐炎等病理表现的病鸡中收集1500份鸡样本的器官(肝脏、肺、心脏、卵黄囊和骨髓)。这些样本被标记后立即冰运至家禽生产质量控制参考实验室(RLQP)。样本接种于麦康凯琼脂和伊红美蓝琼脂上。根据形态学、培养特性、染色和生化特性进行大肠杆菌的分离和鉴定。采用纸片扩散法进行抗菌药物敏感性试验。使用特定引物进行PCR,以检测分离出的大肠杆菌中的这些基因。

结果

鸡群中大肠杆菌的流行率为34%。血清学鉴定的大肠杆菌主要血清型为O128、O111、O44、O158和O2。大肠杆菌的抗生素敏感性试验显示,100%的分离株对氨苄西林、红霉素和磺胺甲恶唑 - 甲氧苄啶耐药,而73.53%和38.23%的分离株分别对硫酸黏菌素和左氧氟沙星敏感。对分离出的大肠杆菌检测抗生素抗性基因blaCTX-M,检出率为91.18%。在分离出的大肠杆菌中还检测到类似blaTEM和blaSHV的抗性基因,检出率分别为70.6%和14.7%。

结论

从埃及鸡群中分离出的大肠杆菌携带影响家禽业的消毒剂和抗生素抗性基因。
