The authors study the effects of Tiapridal on the late dyskinesia resulting from the continuous use of neuroleptics. They present a conclusive observation of the effectiveness of this product on this syndrome. They have come to the conclusion that it is not necessary to prescribe anti-Parkinson drugs, the side-effects of which are well-known, firstly by diminuing the neuroleptic doses as soon as the first symptoms of extra-pyramidal syndrome appear, and secondly, when these symptoms appear by adding some Tiapridal to the dose of neuroleptics already taken.
