Abstract

Incorporation of methionine into brain proteins has been measured by quantitative autoradiography after desmethylimipramine administration in rats. Acute treatment decreased protein synthesis in three regions: hippocampus, hypothalamus and habenula. After chronic treatment the decrease extended to four other regions: substantia nigra, raphe dorsalis, trigeminal nerve and hypophysis. An opposite effect was observed in the retrosplenial cortex.

在给大鼠施用去甲丙咪嗪后,已通过定量放射自显影法测定蛋氨酸掺入脑蛋白的情况。急性处理降低了三个区域的蛋白质合成:海马体、下丘脑和缰核。慢性处理后,降低范围扩展到其他四个区域:黑质、背侧中缝核、三叉神经和垂体。在压后皮质观察到相反的效果。
