Fifty-three cerebrospinal fluid specimens from meningitis patients were investigated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for detection of mycobacterial antigens. After heating at 56 degrees C for 1 hour to eliminate nonspecific interference, all 22 tuberculous meningitis (TBM) specimens had an optical density of greater than 0.05 (sensitivity 100%). Six out of 31 non-TBM cases gave false-positive results (specificity 81%).
采用酶联免疫吸附测定法对53份脑膜炎患者的脑脊液标本进行检测,以检测分枝杆菌抗原。在56℃加热1小时以消除非特异性干扰后,所有22份结核性脑膜炎(TBM)标本的光密度均大于0.05(敏感性100%)。31例非TBM病例中有6例出现假阳性结果(特异性81%)。
