Abstract

BACKGROUND

We aimed to investigate the analgesic effect and immune function of elderly patients with colon cancer after application of sevoflurane and isoflurane anesthesia.

METHODS

Overall, 130 patients with colon cancer in Yidu Central Hospital of Weifang (Weifang, China) from February 2014 to January 2017 were collected and randomly divided into sevoflurane group (SEV group) and isoflurane group (ISO group). The pain score, immune indexes, postoperative cognitive index, extubation time, awakening time and S100R protein were analyzed.

RESULTS

The pain scores in SEV group at 5 min, 1 h and 3 h during surgery were significantly lower than those in ISO group (=0.001, respectively). The levels of IL-6 in both groups of patients were higher at T1 and T2 than those at T0 (=0.001). The levels of TNF-α in SEV group at T2 and T3 were significantly higher than that at T0 (=0.001). The levels of CD80 in both groups of patients at T2 and T3 were obviously higher than those at T0 (=0.001). Moreover, the extubation time, the response time to language and awakening time in SEV group were also remarkably shorter than those in ISO group (=0.001). After continuous anesthesia in both groups of patients, the degrees of decline in ISO group were significantly higher than those in SEV group (=0.001).

CONCLUSION

Sevoflurane has a superior anesthetic effect to isoflurane in elderly patients with colon cancer, can reduce the degree of pain, improve the awakening condition and increase the immune function, so it is worthy of clinical application.

背景

我们旨在研究七氟醚和异氟醚麻醉应用于老年结肠癌患者后的镇痛效果及免疫功能。

方法

收集2014年2月至2017年1月在潍坊益都中心医院(中国潍坊)的130例结肠癌患者,并随机分为七氟醚组(SEV组)和异氟醚组(ISO组)。分析疼痛评分、免疫指标、术后认知指标、拔管时间、苏醒时间和S100R蛋白。

结果

手术过程中,SEV组在5分钟、1小时和3小时的疼痛评分显著低于ISO组(分别为=0.001)。两组患者在T1和T2时的IL-6水平均高于T0时(=0.001)。SEV组在T2和T3时的TNF-α水平显著高于T0时(=0.001)。两组患者在T2和T3时的CD80水平均明显高于T0时(=0.001)。此外,SEV组的拔管时间、语言反应时间和苏醒时间也明显短于ISO组(=0.001)。两组患者持续麻醉后,ISO组的下降程度显著高于SEV组(=0.001)。

结论

在老年结肠癌患者中,七氟醚的麻醉效果优于异氟醚,可减轻疼痛程度,改善苏醒状况并增强免疫功能,因此值得临床应用。
