Single administration of 1-(2-tetrahydrofuryl)-5-fluorouracil (UFT) to patients with renal cell carcinoma with assessable lesions brought about 1 case each of complete response, partial response and no change, 3 cases of partial deterioration and the effective rate of 33.3%. As adverse effects, anorexia occurred in 1 of the 6 patients, but continual administration was possible by reducing the dose. The effective rate of UFT is high with few adverse effects, compared with the conventional chemotherapy. Therefore, UFT is considered to be an effective preparation for treating renal cell carcinoma.
对有可评估病灶的肾细胞癌患者单次给予1-(2-四氢呋喃基)-5-氟尿嘧啶（优福定），出现完全缓解、部分缓解和病情无变化各1例，部分恶化3例，有效率为33.3%。作为不良反应，6例患者中有1例出现厌食，但通过减量仍可继续给药。与传统化疗相比，优福定有效率高且不良反应少。因此，优福定被认为是治疗肾细胞癌的有效制剂。
