This osteological study of craniofacial growth points out a change in the slope of regression lines about thirty weeks of gestational age, for numerous arc dimensions. Parietal bone growth, most affected by this change, is particularly studied. Further investigations on brain growth and fetal environment appear obviously essential to elucidate biological signification of the phenomenon, which is briefly discussed.
