In this paper, the removal performance and mechanism of xanthated chitosan (XCTS) towards heavy metal ions are investigated. XCTS possesses both strong chelating abilities and excellent flocculation properties, which can effectively remove several kinds of heavy metal ions, such as Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb and Zn. It has a good potential for practical application. In a flocculation test of a mixed component solution, the removal rates of Cr, Cu and Cd reach 100%, 100% and 99.1%, respectively. The removal rates are significantly greater than that of a single component solution. It indicates that there is a synergistic effect between different metal ions. Moreover, the selectivity of XCTS for Cr and Cu is obviously superior to that for Cd; XCTS is easier to combine with the heavy metal ions belonging to hard acids.
本文研究了黄原酸化壳聚糖(XCTS)对重金属离子的去除性能及机制。XCTS兼具强螯合能力和优异的絮凝性能,能有效去除多种重金属离子,如Cr、Cu、Mn、Ni、Pb和Zn,具有良好的实际应用潜力。在混合组分溶液的絮凝试验中,Cr、Cu和Cd的去除率分别达到100%、100%和99.1%。去除率显著高于单一组分溶液,表明不同金属离子之间存在协同效应。此外,XCTS对Cr和Cu的选择性明显优于对Cd的选择性;XCTS更容易与属于硬酸的重金属离子结合。
