Choroid plexus papillomas (CPPs) are infrequently encountered brain tumors with the majority originating in the ventricular system. Rarely, CPP occurs outside of the ventricles.
We report the case of a recurrent CPP that initially originated within the fourth ventricle, though years later it recurred in the left middle cerebellar peduncle.
Patients with cerebellar plexus papilloma need long-term follow-up comprising regular magnetic resonance imagings since, in patients with a history of CPP, any new mild symptomatology, even years after the initial presentation, may be an early sign of tumor recurrence.
脉络丛乳头状瘤（CPPs）是一种罕见的脑肿瘤，大多数起源于脑室系统。极少数情况下，CPP发生在脑室以外。
我们报告一例复发性CPP病例，该肿瘤最初起源于第四脑室，数年后复发于左小脑脚中部。
小脑丛乳头状瘤患者需要长期随访，包括定期进行磁共振成像检查，因为有CPP病史的患者，即使在初次发病数年之后，任何新出现的轻微症状都可能是肿瘤复发的早期迹象。
