Abstract

A naphthylamide based fluorescent chemosensor, N,N'-(1,2-phenylene)bis(1-hydroxy-2-naphthamide) (HL), for detection of Fe and Al cations as well as CN anion is reported. This compound has been synthesized by a novel and facile synthetic method with high yield and characterized by FT-IR, H NMR, elemental analysis, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. It could detect Fe and Al ions in different media with different excitation and emission wavelengths. In DMSO solution, HL showed selective ON-OFF quenching of its 451 nm emission in the presence of Fe. On the other hand, in DMF solution, HL exhibited selective OFF-ON fluorescence upon the addition of Al, the intensity at 429 nm increases drastically by 24-fold. Also, among the anions, the probe can selectively distinguish CN by deprotonation of OH and NH groups, as proved by H NMR titration. TD-DFT calculation supports the UV-Vis and fluorescence measurements of the chemosensor.

本文报道了一种基于萘酰胺的荧光化学传感器 N,N'-(1,2-亚苯基)双(1-羟基-2-萘甲酰胺)(HL),用于检测 Fe 和 Al 阳离子以及 CN 阴离子。该化合物采用新颖、简便的合成方法合成,产率高,并通过傅里叶变换红外光谱(FT-IR)、核磁共振氢谱(H NMR)、元素分析和紫外-可见光谱(UV-Vis 光谱)进行了表征。它可以在不同的介质中,以不同的激发和发射波长检测 Fe 和 Al 离子。在 DMSO 溶液中,HL 在存在 Fe 时,其 451nm 发射显示出选择性的 ON-OFF 猝灭。另一方面,在 DMF 溶液中,HL 对 Al 的加入表现出选择性的 OFF-ON 荧光,429nm 处的强度急剧增加了 24 倍。此外,在阴离子中,探针可以通过 OH 和 NH 基团的去质子化来选择性地区分 CN,这一点通过 H NMR 滴定得到了证明。TD-DFT 计算支持化学传感器的紫外-可见和荧光测量。
