A new species of Elcanidae (Orthoptera, Elcanoidea), , is described based on four new specimens from the Middle Jurassic Jiulongshan Formation of northeastern China. The new species differs from all other known Archelcaninae species by its combination of wing-venation characters. This new finding improves our knowledge of variation on wing venation in elcanid insects and constitutes the first record of Elcanidae from the Daohugou fossil bed (Yanliao Biota) of northeastern China.
基于来自中国东北中侏罗世九龙山组的四个新标本，描述了埃尔卡纳科（直翅目，埃尔卡诺亚目）的一个新物种。该新物种因其翅脉特征的组合与所有其他已知的古埃尔卡纳亚科物种不同。这一新发现增进了我们对埃尔卡纳科昆虫翅脉变异的了解，并构成了中国东北道虎沟化石层（燕辽生物群）埃尔卡纳科的首次记录。
