The above article from the Journal of Clinical Hypertension, published online on 31 January 2007 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), and in Volume 8, Issue 11, pp. 775-782, DOI: 10.1111/j.1524-6175.2006.05667.x, has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Marvin Moser, and Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The retraction has been agreed upon due to the finding of the University of Minnesota that Mr Pins committed academic misconduct by falsifying data in the paper and misrepresenting his degree credentials.
