We present the case of a 36-year-old patient with a 4-part proximal humerus fracture with subcoracoid dislocation and devascularization of the humeral head after a fall onto his right shoulder.
The patient was successfully treated with open reduction and locking plate fixation to demonstrate that a successful postoperative functional outcome with humeral head survival can be achieved in these complex situations.
