The author suggests a modified method for vitamin E estimation in foodstuffs. Thin-layer chromatography on Silufol (CSSR) plates was used for purification and isolation of vitamin E. Color reaction conducted directly on the plate makes possible increasing the estimation accuracy, especially when isomeric composition of vitamin E is studied in vegetable products. The use of excessive amounts of ethanol for alkaline saponification of samples enables estimation of vitamin E by the method suggested practically in all foodstuffs. The author has used this method for vitamin E estimation in some foodstuffs, in particular, in vegetable oils.
作者提出了一种用于食品中维生素E测定的改良方法。采用在硅镁型吸附剂（捷克斯洛伐克社会主义共和国）板上进行薄层层析法来纯化和分离维生素E。直接在板上进行显色反应可提高测定准确性，特别是在研究植物产品中维生素E的异构体组成时。使用过量乙醇对样品进行碱性皂化，使得几乎可以用所建议的方法对所有食品中的维生素E进行测定。作者已将此方法用于某些食品中维生素E的测定，特别是植物油中维生素E的测定。
