Pain relief clinics under anaesthetic management in Scotland.

The rapid development of pain relief clinics throughout the United Kingdom has led to major differences in the range of treatments provided by the centres, and problems in their management and funding. To ascertain the present position of the service provided by anaesthetists in Scotland, a survey by questionnaire was carried out. A summary of these findings and the conclusions are detailed.
