Abstract

The regioselective mono-bromination of phenols has been successfully developed with KBr and ZnAl-BrO-layered double hydroxides (abbreviated as ZnAl-BrO-LDHs) as brominating reagents. The para site is much favorable and the ortho site takes the priority if para site is occupied. This reaction featured with excellent regioselectivity, cheap brominating reagents, mild reaction condition, high atom economy, broad substrate scope, and provided an efficient method to synthesize bromophenols.

摘要

酚的区域选择性单溴化反应已成功开发,使用 KBr 和 ZnAl-BrO 层状双氢氧化物(简称 ZnAl-BrO-LDHs)作为溴化试剂。如果对位被占据,则邻位优先,对位是有利的。该反应具有优异的区域选择性、廉价的溴化试剂、温和的反应条件、高原子经济性、广泛的底物范围,为合成溴酚类化合物提供了一种有效的方法。
