26 patients with a primary malignant tumor of the small intestine could be found in the cases in the surgical department of the Marienhospital Herne, University of Bochum, from 1978 to 1987. By the anamnesis and findings on admission various symptoms and clinical results only a few cases advising symptoms for a malignant tumor of the small intestine were found. Often the diagnosis only could be found by an emergency operation. An amelioration of the bad prognosis will be possible with shortening the long latency between the first uncharacteristic symptoms and the right diagnosis. After going through the endoscopy and radiology with strong anamnesis and findings, the explorative laparotomy must be done as an compulsory step.
1978年至1987年期间，在波鸿大学赫恩玛丽医院外科的病例中，发现了26例原发性小肠恶性肿瘤患者。通过病史和入院时的检查结果，各种症状和临床结果显示，只有少数病例出现了提示小肠恶性肿瘤的症状。通常只有通过急诊手术才能做出诊断。缩短首次出现非特异性症状与正确诊断之间的长时间间隔，有可能改善不良预后。在详细了解病史和检查结果并进行内镜检查和放射学检查后，必须进行探查性剖腹手术作为必要步骤。
