Gout Ulcer: An Underrecognized Cause of Leg Ulcer and Its Most Common Differential Diagnosis In addition to the differential diagnosis of the leg ulcer, an entity hardly mentioned in the literature is considered, namely the gout ulcer. On the basis of a case study, newer forms of diagnosis and their significance in case of suspicion of gout ulcer are discussed.
