Abstract

Taenia crassiceps is an experimental model used for cysticercosis studies and has suffered metabolic analyzes regarding the effect of anthelminthic drugs. The metabolic analyses are useful tools to determine the drugs mode of action and the parasites survival mechanisms. The energetic pathways are good candidates for this kind of approach as they are essential for the parasites survival and adaptation to the environment. In this review we discuss the anthelminthic drugs mode of action and its metabolic impact on Taenia crassiceps cysticerci.

多头绦虫是一种用于囊尾蚴病研究的实验模型,已经进行了针对驱虫药物效果的代谢分析。代谢分析是确定药物作用模式和寄生虫生存机制的有用工具。能量途径是这种方法的良好候选者,因为它们是寄生虫生存和适应环境所必需的。在这篇综述中,我们讨论了驱虫药物的作用模式及其对多头绦虫囊尾蚴的代谢影响。
