Hutson Michelle Manning, Dunning Trisha
Michelle Manning Hutson, MPH, is a PhD scholar in Geelong, Australia, investigating best practice case management in compensable injuries. Michelle holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Health degrees. She has more than 15 years of providing case management care in a variety of community settings. Michelle has a particular interest in understanding how the environments in which we work, live, and play influence health outcomes over the life course. Michelle holds a PhD scholarship provided by the Australian Government Research Training Program.
Trisha Dunning, AM RN, MEd, PhD, CDE, FRCNA, is the inaugural Chair in Nursing in the Deakin University and Barwon Health Partnership. She is a credentialed diabetes educator and a life member of the Australian Diabetes Educators Association and a Distinguished Life Fellow of the Australian College of Nursing. She is a member of the Board of Diabetes Victoria and a past Vice President of the International Diabetes Federation. She is widely published in journal, books, guidelines, and position statements and has received many awards for her work. Her research focuses on diabetes in older people, and palliative and end of life care.
