Intracranial infection caused by anaerobic bacteria is rare, and it is difficult to identify absolute anaerobes in the clinical laboratory, especially when the bacterial load is low. Here, we report the first case of intracranial mycotic aneurysm caused by associated with chronic sinusitis and successful identification of the bacteria by 16S rRNA sequencing from bacterial growth in broth only.
厌氧菌引起的颅内感染罕见，临床实验室难以鉴定绝对厌氧菌，尤其是细菌载量低时。在此，我们报告首例与慢性鼻窦炎相关的颅内真菌性动脉瘤病例，并仅通过肉汤中细菌生长的16S rRNA测序成功鉴定出细菌。
