This article discusses the emerging roles of F-FDG PET/CT and DWI in the assessment of peritoneal carcinomatosis in ovarian carcinoma from diagnostic accuracy to disease prognostication with gross pathologic correlation. PET/CT and DWI have incremental clinical values over conventional modalities with high predictive values of incomplete cytoreduction in ovarian carcinoma. The respective quantitative metrics offer evaluation of tumor burden with prognostic value in ovarian carcinoma.
本文从诊断准确性到大体病理相关性探讨了 F-FDG PET/CT 和 DWI 在卵巢癌腹膜癌病评估中的新兴作用。与传统方法相比，PET/CT 和 DWI 具有更高的临床增值价值，对卵巢癌不完全肿瘤减灭术具有较高的预测价值。各自的定量指标可评估肿瘤负荷，并具有卵巢癌的预后价值。
